About Ladies Club
Sewa Sankalp launched its first Ladies Club – Lucknow Wing on Sunday, 23 April, 2023 at Hotel Comfort Inn, Gomti Nagar.
From the year 2023-24, Sewa Sankalp plans to launch a ladies club in all the provinces it is actively working in. The purpose of this is to expand the
organisation’ s horizons and give a platform to the ladies who want to step of their homes for some noble cause.
The objective of the club is to reach out to the poorest of the poor, children and women in need, people with health concerns but no means, legal counseling, school counseling, etc. Apart from these activities, the club also will start organizing events on large scale not only to generate funds but also to give a platform to the people from those sections of the society that are neglected. The club is formed of motivated and enthusiastic ladies who wish to serve and bring a change. Together we will make a difference.
Ms. Lovleen Chhabra is the President of the
Ladies Club – (Lucknow Wing). She is an
educator and has played the role of a
Teacher, Head Mistress and Vice Principal for
a span of almost 25 years. She is an Arts
Graduate with MA in Sociology and English,
B. Ed (Gold medalist) and M. Ed (Gold
medalist). Her hobbies are reading, dancing,
listening to music, socializing and visiting
events being held around in the city. Her
dream is to one day see a society that is free
of all differences, discrimination, prejudices,
inequalities and hatred. She wants to work
for the poor, the needy, the children of the
slum, the oppressed women and the elderly
who have been abandoned by their loved
ones. According to her, “Women are the
fulcrum of the society and the families. They
are full of love and forgiveness, they are
polite, sympathetic and empathetic and can
be a great tool to serve the society
selflessly.” The ladies club promises to work
for those who really need help and will strive
to touch the lives of all in need.
Mrs. Ranjana Bhattacharji is a Post
Graduate in English Literature, Lucknow
University. Working in Small Industries
Development Bank of India (SIDBI),
established under Act of Parliament 1989.
She joined in 1992 & presently working as
Assistant General Manager (AGM). Her
hobbies are cooking, gardening (though she
has no place in a flat), love animals, love to
help people.
